Kevin Miller, Jr. – Co-Founder, CEO

Kevin Miller is a former U.S. Marine Corps Reservist who has resided in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, since 2004.  Kevin’s  involvement in security projects in Vietnam include: leading an IT audit of an RFID-based weight bridge system with an Indonesian coal company in Uong Bi, Vietnam; upgrading and maintaining CCTV camera systems at a Ho Chi Minh City-based international school; and making recommendations for CCTV camera solutions with several companies throughout Vietnam.  Kevin founded Orion NewTech before changing the name to Protekus.

Kevin holds a MPA from Indiana University (Bloomington, IN.) and a Double Degree Bachelor of Arts (American Ethnic Studies and Sociology) from the University of Washington (Seattle, WA.).  He is very active in the IT community in HCMC and has served as an instructor with several international schools and universities.

Louis Nguyen – Co-Founder, CTO

Louis Nguyen is a graduate of the Saigon Institute of Technology with a strong background in IT security and CCTV camera solutions.  Louis has performed audits and make numerous CCTV camera system recommendations to companies and factories across Vietnam including the cities Hanoi, Danang, and Ho Chi Minh City.  He has experience installing CCTV camera systems including the high-end  Mobotix.

Akira Kojima – Marketing Director

Akira Kojima is the Marketing Director for Protekus’s Partner, 007 Professional Security.  He has resided in Vietnam since 2003 and is married to a Vietnamese national. Akira networks with both the Japanese and Vietnamese companies.
